Since ancient times, Japanese people have appreciated the changing colors of fall just as much as the cherry blossoms in spring.

The Miya River is a beautiful sight with its brocaded autumn colors in this time of the season. As the season changes, the jinja grounds turn red one after the other, and even the Miya River changes its color from fresh green to shades of red and yellow.

A promenade runs along the upper reaches of the Miya River, leading to the back of the jinja grounds, attracting many visitors who come to stroll and view the autumn leaves. The area is dotted with small bridges that offer breathtaking views, and the region near the Taiko-Bridge by the jinja buildings is a particularly popular spot.
