The cherry blossoms that bloom along the Miya River in the jinja grounds are a magnificent sight to behold, and the atmosphere of spring is in full bloom during this time of year.

In late March, the cherry trees in the jinja grounds start blooming, and visitors can see various varieties of cherry blossoms, such as weeping cherry trees (shidare-zakua) and a takizakura (滝桜).

Visitors can also enjoy rare cherry blossoms such as a gyoikou and a kiku-zakura, each with unique features. the gyoikou (御衣黄), which has green flowers, and the kiku-zakura (菊桜), which has many petals on a single calyx.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year in early April and attracts large crowds.
