One of the three most important rituals and ceremonies(三大祭)," the "Niinae-sai" is held every November 23.

In the fall, Okuni Jinja priests offer new grains, including rice that has grown in abundance during the harvest season, and dedicate a prayer of gratitude to kami.

The origin of Niiname-san dates back to ancient times and is mentioned in the Kojiki (古事記, Records of Ancient Matters) as a ceremony held by Amaterasu-Omikami.
